In the 4th match minute, River CBBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Asmundsson to maneuver through the defense. Naike Abalos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yakov Achuev went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Horacio Zarricueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponciano Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shymkent Camels's goalkeeper Horacio Zarricueta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 31st minute, but Horacio Zarricueta got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Shymkent Camels hanging dry this time. River CBBA were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Shymkent Camels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Modesto Ado took the corner. If Endura Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Endura Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the River CBBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Endura Abechuco couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Shymkent Camels's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Endura Abechuco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

River CBBA's Cipriano Abechuco was substituted for Varis Birgelis. River CBBA made a substitution. Guerau Abeitia replaced Modesto Ado. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Milla was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Juan Funes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Horacio Zarricueta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horacio Zarricueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Funes in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Shymkent Camels booed when River CBBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deng Xing Sang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Boğaçhan Akyel got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yakov Achuev in the 66th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Naike Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Juan Funes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River CBBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Horacio Zarricueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endura Abechuco in the 81st minute of play. Endura Abechuco took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Zarricueta. Horacio Zarricueta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Endura Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Yakov Achuev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naike Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naike Abalos made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Vladimir Kugotov sent off a good shot on target. River CBBA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
