When Luis Licerio fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almeyra F.C.'s protests and gave Luis Licerio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Miguel Bizen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Almeyra F.C.'s Froilan Llorian didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Abecia got free with Paolo Weather in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Anier Ortzi in the 19th minute really tested Paolo Weather's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paolo Weather was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Urbano Bero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. A collision led to RÚSTICOS F.C getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bruno Perico hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Agustin Pacifico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Almeyra F.C. defense, Bruno Perico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Froilan Llorian. The Almeyra F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Froilan Llorian should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute Bruno Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Pacifico in the 45th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Froilan Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Paolo Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Perico was the one to do the kick off. RÚSTICOS F.C's Paolo Weather played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Laurentzi in the 69th minute of play. When Almeyra F.C.'s Omar Abecia in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 78thth minute of the game Alejo Kaxen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RÚSTICOS F.C's Paolo Weather was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Perico's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Froilan Llorian firmly grabbed it by the left post. 82 minutes into the game, Artemio Luzaide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RÚSTICOS F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almeyra F.C. the free kick. Artemio Luzaide kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Paolo Weather showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Abecia in the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Alejo Kaxen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almeyra F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Kaxen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Weather breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Perico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Froilan Llorian made a huge save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
