Maurino Serena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Judas Verón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 43rd minute of play. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 44th minute of the match. Maurino Serena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Judas Verón went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belo Alvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Jaunzuria kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Maurino Serena came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón. But to his dismay, Judas Verón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 63 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurino Serena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgrano de Pibasog's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blue Dolar in the 65th minute. Belgrano de Pibasog's Eustaquio Fortun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maurino Serena in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Clemente Gaizkine got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eustaquio Fortun. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Judas Verón in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurino Serena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurino Serena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Judas Verón showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 85 minute of play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
