Judas Verón blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roland Delbridge having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Judas Verón got free with Roland Delbridge in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Soon in the 11th minute of play. Ladislao Gombal hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Judas Verón could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Roland Delbridge however easily saved by the left post. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Brion in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Judas Verón kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roland Delbridge. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Judas Verón took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Roland Delbridge to make any attempt to save it. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Soon in the 40th minute of play. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Márcico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Delbridge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Judas Verón in the 66th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Roland Delbridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Raggio made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Asiz Soon sent off a good shot on target. Los Muchachos del 86's Vinicio Eliu was substituted for Saverio Brion. The tension between the Los Muchachos del 86 and the Belgrano de Pibasog players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Beto Márcico hit a great ball. Roland Delbridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Ilinca in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Los Muchachos del 86 booed when Belgrano de Pibasog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Fortun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Delbridge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iulian Ilinca's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
