Francisco Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizka Sesma having to interfere. The supporters of Swift GTi FDC booed when INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Simon Gonzalez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pepe Santoro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pepe Santoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tilemachos Ifantidis in the 29th minute. Pepe Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Gonzalez in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB defense, Simon Gonzalez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pepe Santoro. The INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pepe Santoro should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Tilemachos Ifantidis sped through INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pepe Santoro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tilemachos Ifantidis in the 82nd minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Tilemachos Ifantidis came free, but Pepe Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Swift GTi FDC fully deserved thier win.
