With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Petito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mané Pimenta in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Hernandez saved INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiburcio Pacifico in the 16th minute. Vulcanos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Javier Weterio 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. With his leg Cristiano Petito managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Javier Weterio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Udroiu in the 22nd minute of play forced Vulcanos's goalkeeper Cristiano Petito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Petito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Udroiu in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Vulcanos's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Geofredo came free, but Cristiano Petito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Geofredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Cristiano Petito made a huge save. Cristiano Petito was a little too slow when Robustiano Geofredo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0. Cristiano Petito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Weterio's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. When INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Javier Weterio in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vulcanos's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mané Pimenta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Petito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Weterio's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Javier Weterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Petito was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Erubiel Hernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mané Pimenta. Vulcanos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Javier Weterio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Cristiano Petito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Javier Weterio went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Javier Weterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. 76 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Lages came free, but Erubiel Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Petito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Weterio in the 79th minute of the match. Cristiano Petito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Weterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Israel Lages had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB had won after a very even match.
