Ponce Roig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Florinio having to interfere. Maxim Cernei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Aureliano Florinio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxim Cernei got free with Aureliano Florinio in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Aureliano Florinio managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Atlético de Caracas's Rolando Alley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Atlético de Caracas's Aureliano Florinio threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ponce Roig, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rolando Alley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Aureliano Florinio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute Atlético de Caracas were awarded a corner. Gabirel Caceo went to the cornerflag to take it. Arnaldo Javiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atay Türegün read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match La Maquina 9-12-18 got a corner. Atlético de Caracas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnaldo Javiar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Albert Gaardahl almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético de Caracas's Atay Türegün did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Atlético de Caracas made a substitution. Aires Laguno replaced Ponce Roig. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Gaardahl to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when Atlético de Caracas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabirel Caceo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxim Cernei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Florinio having to interfere. La Maquina 9-12-18's Aureliano Florinio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Alley in the 92nd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Atlético de Caracas's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Ebardo came free, but Atay Türegün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on La Maquina 9-12-18's corner Arnaldo Javiar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Atay Türegün quite easily take care of the ball. Atlético de Caracas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
