King Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Illan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Alexandre Veríssimo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Gualterio Bidun made a huge save. Emanuel Miguéis charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Miguéis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Emanuel Miguéis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

King Duarte made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Bernabe Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. After 79 minutes of play CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Emanuel Miguéis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 80 played minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Miguéis. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's King Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute Don Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Bidun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land fans cheered their team off the field, for while Formentera had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
