After 10 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Netto. 15 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Porto came free, but Santana Armada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Evaristo Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santana Armada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Porto in the 18th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Santana Armada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Art Rhoades tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Belmiro Montenegro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Santana Armada made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Cícero Cearense sent off a good shot on target. 97 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Recife came free, but Belmiro Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
