Omicrón's Cayetano Timo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Txilar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Valentin Alucusan made a huge save. Valentin Alucusan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Mino in the 18th minute of the match. Apolo Beltran kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Valentin Alucusan was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Santo Mino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santo Mino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Apolo Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Alucusan having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Apolo Beltran took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Valentin Alucusan to make any attempt to save it. Valentin Alucusan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. 41 minutes into the match, Dragones Tampico's goal looked a bit too open when Darijus Pakėnas came free, but Hakkı Demircan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Alucusan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darijus Pakėnas to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Santo Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Alucusan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Mamula was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play, Dragones Tampico's Isaias Fe made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Alucusan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Santo Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Alucusan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Timo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Demircan having to interfere. In the 77th minute Herminio Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakkı Demircan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Omicrón getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Raimundo Toribio hit a great ball. The supporters of Omicrón booed when Dragones Tampico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Honorato Vitin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Omicrón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Vitin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Raimundo Toribio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hakkı Demircan. Dragones Tampico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Toribio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
