Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Macho Loaiza got the match started through his kick off. FC Monteverde's Macho Loaiza got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angel Coronado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfonso Matamoros. NasTic F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match Angel Coronado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Matamoros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Macho Loaiza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfonso Matamoros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Monteverde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Napoleon Volio in the 12th minute. A nice corner shot did that Minor Echeverria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfonso Matamoros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by NasTic F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Napoleon Volio was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Monteverde's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Napoleon Volio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but NasTic F.C's Alfonso Matamoros did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macho Loaiza in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Matamoros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Macho Loaiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to NasTic F.C getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Aurelio Perez hit a great ball. With his leg Alfonso Matamoros managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when FC Monteverde's Macho Loaiza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 29 minutes into the match, NasTic F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Fallas came free, but Alfonso Matamoros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Nacho Padilla from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Alfonso Matamoros's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 38 minutes into the match, NasTic F.C's goalkeeper Alfonso Matamoros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Macho Loaiza. Olman Orlich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reiner Campos went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reiner Campos made a kick off. Anselmo Fallas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alfonso Matamoros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Macho Loaiza struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Alfonso Matamoros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Monteverde. In the 64th minute Salvador Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Matamoros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Macho Loaiza came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC Monteverde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Macho Loaiza couldn't finish the play. Brian Orlich struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Alfonso Matamoros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Monteverde. FC Monteverde's Olman Orlich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reiner Campos in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Monteverde's zone, Reiner Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olman Orlich came out of the goal and Reiner Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th match minute, NasTic F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Coronado to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Matamoros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macho Loaiza in the 77th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Angel Coronado put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of FC Monteverde:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NasTic F.C:s goal. A collision led to NasTic F.C getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Aurelio Perez hit a great ball. In the 89th play minute Leopoldo Madrigal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olman Orlich. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macho Loaiza in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Matamoros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, NasTic F.C's Reiner Campos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olman Orlich. Olman Orlich yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. NasTic F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
