Tocoymevoy's Justavino Ezcurra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chatruc Mielgo succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Justavino Ezcurra made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Unax Subijana sent off a good shot on target. After 21 minutes, Trivniño Tejeda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiches and the Tocoymevoy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Trivniño Tejeda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dannes Picado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Chatruc Mielgo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Justavino Ezcurra, 3-0. If Nunez Vasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Unax Subijana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Chatruc Mielgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unax Subijana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chatruc Mielgo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justavino Ezcurra having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chatruc Mielgo made a kick off. Unax Subijana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Justavino Ezcurra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Unax Subijana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justavino Ezcurra was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the game, one of Tocoymevoy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Chiches a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rogelio Hijosa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tocoymevoy's Justavino Ezcurra. 4-0. Dannes Picado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xerardo Siles kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Tocoymevoy's Victoriano Cebada threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dannes Picado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Unax Subijana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Justavino Ezcurra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5-0 became the score in the 79th minute when Chatruc Mielgo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dannes Picado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chiches's goalkeeper Victoriano Cebada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chiches's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Nunez Vasco scored to the left of an out of position Victoriano Cebada, making the score, 5-1. After 95 played minutes Tocoymevoy got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Oliveras. Tocoymevoy's Justavino Ezcurra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unax Subijana in the 97th minute of play. If Dannes Picado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tocoymevoy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
