After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Kemen Doypa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Zuni's supporters rose to their feet, but Kemen Doypa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Francos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaume Padolles during the 24th minute. In the 40th minute, Procopio Aviles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmundo Francos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Real Zuni booed when Club Yugoslavo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Roces didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Kemen Doypa got in the 81st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Edmundo Francos handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The corner was taken by Firmin Camudio in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on Real Zuni's corner Firmin Camudio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmundo Francos quite easily take care of the ball. Baldovino Belarrinaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
