An unexpectedly hard shot by Marques Marino in the 12th minute of play forced Club Yugoslavo's goalkeeper Edmundo Francos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Silverio Santisso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Placido Monta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Yugoslavo's Edmundo Francos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marques Marino in the 35th minute of play. Sengrat Monsagrati charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sengrat Monsagrati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Frisco Azcoitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frisco Azcoitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garcia Estopinal having to interfere. Placido Monta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Garcia Estopinal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edmundo Francos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marques Marino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marques Marino made a kick off. Frisco Azcoitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garcia Estopinal having to interfere. Frisco Azcoitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Garcia Estopinal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Yugoslavo's zone, Sengrat Monsagrati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo Francos came out of the goal and Sengrat Monsagrati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Monta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garcia Estopinal having to interfere. Garcia Estopinal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Monta, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ubelteso Masbernat charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubelteso Masbernat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Centro Hispano booed when Club Yugoslavo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubelteso Masbernat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garcia Estopinal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frisco Azcoitia in the 87th minute of the match. After 89 minutes, Frisco Azcoitia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Yugoslavo and the Centro Hispano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Garcia Estopinal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frisco Azcoitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
