The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Dustin Cavazos fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Landfair FC's protests and gave Dustin Cavazos a yellow card for diving instead. Dustin Cavazos hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. If Thomas Stroud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kirby Jeffers during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Landfair FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirby Jeffers to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes, Roger Burrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oriental Dragon FC and the Landfair FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oriental Dragon FC's Marco Connell got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to Oriental Dragon FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Roger Burrell hit a great ball. Thomas Stroud scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wendell Rader, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Oriental Dragon FC's Roger Burrell in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Landfair FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Ken Bower had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Burrell in the 31st minute of play forced Landfair FC's goalkeeper Wendell Rader to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Thomas Stroud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wendell Rader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wendell Rader was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roger Burrell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Stroud got free with Wendell Rader in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Benito Thacker made the kick off in the second half. Thomas Stroud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Oriental Dragon FC's Roger Burrell in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Burrell in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wendell Rader saved Landfair FC from getting behind. Roger Burrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Stroud in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wendell Rader prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roger Burrell scored 3-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wendell Rader, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomas Stroud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Stroud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wendell Rader having to interfere. Thomas Stroud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Wendell Rader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Landfair FC's Wendell Rader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Stroud in the 77th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Oriental Dragon FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Connell. Wendell Rader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Stroud, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Roger Burrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wendell Rader having to interfere. Landfair FC's Wendell Rader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Burrell in the 88th minute of play. Thomas Stroud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Wendell Rader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Oriental Dragon FC were the better team. Oriental Dragon FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
