An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Larfaoui in the 17th minute of play forced La Habra Heights's goalkeeper Ferhat Ibrir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knodi Harkouk hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Cheb Larfaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rachid Zidane's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Salah Haddou skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Karim Soltani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhat Ibrir having to interfere. After 31 played minutes La Habra Heights got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Zidane. After a defensive mix-up in La Habra Heights's zone, Karim Soltani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferhat Ibrir came out of the goal and Karim Soltani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mimoun Ouid Harkouk fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Habra Heights's protests and gave Mimoun Ouid Harkouk a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Habra Heights getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mimoun Ouid Harkouk hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Karim Bensaïd shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferhat Ibrir showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. La Habra Heights's Ferhat Ibrir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Larfaoui in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tayeb Benhamou made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Habra Heights had won after a very even match.
