Horace Lamontagne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 10 minutes, Bobby Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canyon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bobby Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malcolm Lincoln scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aubrey Abernathy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Bobby Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canyon's supporters rose to their feet, but Bobby Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aubrey Abernathy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lane Lereau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horace Lamontagne in the 18th minute. When Gervais Castaneda fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canyon's protests and gave Gervais Castaneda a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Snoops Doggs booed when Canyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervais Castaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Canyon's Lane Lereau got control of the ball when Horace Lamontagne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Snoops Doggs's Roland Tapia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lane Lereau. Lane Lereau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Aubrey Abernathy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobby Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aubrey Abernathy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Cruz in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 39th minute Roland Tapia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lane Lereau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes, Snoops Doggs's Régis Duff shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lane Lereau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Snoops Doggs reached it. Aubrey Abernathy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alphonse Lott, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lane Lereau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Tapia in the 45th minute of play. If Roland Tapia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roland Tapia made a kick off. Bobby Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aubrey Abernathy having to make a save. With a little luck, Snoops Doggs's Aubrey Abernathy got control of the ball when Bobby Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Snoops Doggs's Horace Lamontagne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lane Lereau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute Malcolm Lincoln shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aubrey Abernathy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Malcolm Lincoln kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aubrey Abernathy. That made the score 1-2 in the 61 minute of play. Aubrey Abernathy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Lincoln in the 64th minute of the match. Lane Lereau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horace Lamontagne in the 67th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alphonse Lott kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aubrey Abernathy. That made the score 1-3 in the 68 minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Snoops Doggs's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Lincoln came free, but Aubrey Abernathy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervais Castaneda in the 74th minute of play forced Snoops Doggs's goalkeeper Aubrey Abernathy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes, Snoops Doggs's Moses Medley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lane Lereau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Snoops Doggs reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alphonse Lott got free with Aubrey Abernathy in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Snoops Doggs's Aubrey Abernathy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Lincoln in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Canyon's Gervais Castaneda got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Snoops Doggs's Aubrey Abernathy got control of the ball when Bobby Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Malcolm Lincoln dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aubrey Abernathy, 1-4. When Roland Tapia came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Snoops Doggs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Tapia couldn't finish the play. Aubrey Abernathy came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Canyon's Gervais Castaneda. But to his dismay, Gervais Castaneda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The Snoops Doggs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Canyon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
