Ilixo Abellaneda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederik Garzon went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Frederik Garzon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilixo Abellaneda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Gartzen Yaner was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Salomone Abascal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Salomone Abascal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Ispaya AFC's goalkeeper Gartzen Yaner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilio Abalos. 28 minutes into the match, Ispaya AFC's Ivon Bascones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilixo Abellaneda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frederik Garzon struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ilixo Abellaneda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ispaya AFC. Gartzen Yaner was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Salomone Abascal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Salomone Abascal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Teofilio Abalos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gartzen Yaner was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Iraitz Abeita. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ivon Bascones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ispaya AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivon Bascones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilixo Abellaneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frederik Garzon made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ivon Bascones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilixo Abellaneda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 64th minute, Frederik Garzon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frederik Garzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ilixo Abellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Rolando Rodríguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salomone Abascal in the 71st minute of play forced Ispaya AFC's goalkeeper Gartzen Yaner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Ispaya AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolino Echandi to maneuver through the defense. Teofilio Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ispaya AFC's Gartzen Yaner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilio Abalos in the 78th minute of play. Rolando Rodríguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gartzen Yaner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederik Garzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilixo Abellaneda having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Ispaya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Xeromo Teberga. 87 minutes into the match, Ispaya AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Salomone Abascal came free, but Gartzen Yaner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Frederik Garzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilixo Abellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Constantine Tooth Stacker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Rodríguez to maneuver through the defense. Xeromo Teberga charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xeromo Teberga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Ispaya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Xeromo Teberga. Teofilio Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
