Sport Club Baid's Ernesto Piola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Baid from getting a goal against them. After 6 minutes of play, Sport Club Baid's Luisão Fernandez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gong Di Yuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Abel Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisão Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ernesto Piola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gong Di Yuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Téo Sampaio's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Sport Club Baid's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Garcia came free, but Ernesto Piola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisão Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ernesto Piola made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Abel Duarte made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Piola. Sport Club Baid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Garcia in the 28th minute of play forced Sport Club Baid's goalkeeper Ernesto Piola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Dedê Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Piola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Piola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Viana in the 31st minute of play. The Sport Club Baid fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Sport Club Baid's Téo Sampaio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lúcio Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lúcio Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Lúcio Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Téo Sampaio to make the kick off. Dedê Trigo took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Piola. Ernesto Piola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Caio Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caio Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Caio Barral hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ernesto Piola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Trigo in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Capeller-FC booed when Sport Club Baid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capeller-FC's Gong Di Yuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Fernandez in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Sampaio in the 66th minute of play forced Capeller-FC's goalkeeper Gong Di Yuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Luisão Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Baid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisão Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Percival Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Percival Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Capeller-FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Correia to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Téo Sampaio in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gong Di Yuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 77 minutes, Téo Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Baid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Capeller-FC's zone, Téo Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gong Di Yuan came out of the goal and Téo Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Téo Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ernesto Piola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Trigo in the 92nd minute of the match. Roger Magalhães hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Dedê Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Piola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Piola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvinho Reis's late challenge caught a Capeller-FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvinho Reis helped the player get up and apologised. Sport Club Baid were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Capeller-FC to leave the ground with a draw.
