Felippe Araújo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Roger Prado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felippe Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute Celsinho Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Augusto de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Celsinho Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Nilton Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When José Carlos Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quaresma FC's protests and gave José Carlos Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 minutes, Gernando Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chatelodo F.C. and the Quaresma FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Gernando Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Quaresma FC's Alessandro Abraão tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fernão Pereira's late challenge caught a Quaresma FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernão Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. Fernão Pereira hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 32nd play minutes Nilton Paes shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Serafim Félix and just under the crossbar into goal. 38 minutes into the match, Basílio Paiva notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chatelodo F.C.'s Serafim Félix. Serafim Félix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chatelodo F.C.'s Serafim Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Paiva in the 41st minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nilton Paes to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Chatelodo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Paes came free, but Serafim Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Celsinho Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Régis das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Chatelodo F.C.'s Jairo Romero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Quaresma FC's Roger Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Araújo in the 65th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Quaresma FC's Serafim Félix threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nilton Paes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nilton Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Serafim Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nilton Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Felippe Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Roger Prado. Quaresma FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celsinho Leite in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Prado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nilton Paes might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafim Félix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilton Paes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute of the match, Nilton Paes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serafim Félix saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Felippe Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Prado having to interfere. The supporters of Chatelodo F.C. booed when Quaresma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
