Eriberto Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Proença in the 5th minute of play. If Aloísio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the game, Dráusio Mandrak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bocianowski EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hein -Weiss the free kick. After 8 played minutes Bocianowski EC got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Mandrak. If Humberto Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bocianowski EC's Víktor Bueno got a free kick in the 15th minute. Tião Pires was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zacarias Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Saldanha in the 19th minute of play. Rogério Seco took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Moraes. Eriberto Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Hein -Weiss getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Valdo de Mendonça hit a great ball. Zacarias Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Saldanha in the 30th minute of the match. Edmundo Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Rogério Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Moraes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bocianowski EC's Víktor Bueno got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Aloísio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mário Saldanha made the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Proença struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eriberto Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hein -Weiss. When Aloísio Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Bocianowski EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloísio Travassos couldn't finish the play. Zacarias Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Travassos in the 62nd minute of the match. Hein -Weiss's Humberto Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aloísio Travassos took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Paraíba. Zacarias Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aloísio Travassos scored 2-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Paraíba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmundo Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eriberto Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juvenal Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juvenal Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bocianowski EC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Juvenal Fernandes hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Valdo de Mendonça managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Hein -Weiss's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Saldanha came free, but Zacarias Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bocianowski EC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mário Saldanha hit a great ball. Hein -Weiss's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bocianowski EC had won, even though Hein -Weiss had held more of the ball.
