Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vicente Leal made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute João Paulo Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ezequiel Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beto Cosme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baltazar Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Gilberto Massa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beto Cosme, 1-0. If João Paulo Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Cosme having to interfere. When Baltazar Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Milan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Esteves couldn't finish the play. If Gil Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Gilberto Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Milan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pains getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ciro da Fonseca hit a great ball. João Paulo Quintal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Beto Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Belmiro Sabóia hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Vicente Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor do Nascimento having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Milan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Souto came free, but Victor do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, João Paulo Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Paulo Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Paulo Quintal was the one to do the kick off. Beto Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Paulo Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Victor do Nascimento came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Pains's Luizinho Zanette. But to his dismay, Luizinho Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 58th minute Cacá Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Rodrigo Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Mazinho Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazinho Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Paulo Quintal in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beto Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Paulo Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Beto Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vicente Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience held their breath when Ezequiel Oliveira in the 74th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Beto Cosme's left hand side. Milan FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vicente Leal 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Victor do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Leal in the 84th minute of play. Cacá Souto scored 1-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor do Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the game, Gil Netto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pains's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milan FC the free kick. When the final whistle went the supporters of Pains were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Milan FC side.
