Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) ibitiguaia's Sandro da Silveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Sandro da Silveira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joaquim Marques, passed just outside the right post. Carlos Augusto de Medeiros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Francisco Ramos. 1-2. 21 minutes into the match, Codoz SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro da Silveira came free, but Joaquim Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Faria hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. ibitiguaia's Francisco Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Vieira in the 24th minute of play. After 28 played minutes ibitiguaia got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Loureiro. Francisco Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Alfredinho Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho Vieira's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If Cauan de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredinho Vieira made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Vieira in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, ibitiguaia's Francisco Ramos got control of the ball when Cauan de Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Francisco Ramos managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Codoz SC's Cauan de Medeiros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Vieira in the 63rd minute of play forced ibitiguaia's goalkeeper Francisco Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Alfredinho Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredinho Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Codoz SC's zone, Tiago Gabriel Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Marques came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Vieira in the 77th minute of play forced ibitiguaia's goalkeeper Francisco Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, ibitiguaia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cauan de Medeiros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Vieira in the 88th minute of play forced ibitiguaia's goalkeeper Francisco Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Alfredinho Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ibitiguaia's Francisco Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Alfredinho Vieira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Francisco Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Vieira in the 93rd minute of play. Alfredinho Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Ramos having to make a save. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Codoz SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
