Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isaltino Pombal got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Scorpion getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Yuri Mesquita hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Moquenho's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Pombal came free, but Váldson Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Yuri Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Cido Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moquenho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scorpion the free kick. A collision led to Moquenho getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cido Costa hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Isaltino Pombal rounded Moquenho's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 31 minutes, Raphael Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moquenho and the Scorpion players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, one of Moquenho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Moquenho. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Scorpion. Maicon de Souza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Váldson Bezerra. 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, Moquenho's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Pombal came free, but Váldson Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Pombal in the 41st minute of play forced Moquenho's goalkeeper Váldson Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cido Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Moquenho got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Fontes. 55 minutes into the game, Scorpion's Isaltino Pombal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Váldson Bezerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Moquenho's Váldson Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Madureira in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Scorpion's Yuri Mesquita made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Váldson Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yuri Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Váldson Bezerra having to make a save. Moquenho's Váldson Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Pombal in the 74th minute of play. Váldson Bezerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yuri Mesquita went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Scorpion getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Leonel Machado hit a great ball. After 85 played minutes Moquenho got a freekick which was hit by Cido Costa. When Scorpion's Yuri Mesquita in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moquenho's goalie prevented a goal. Váldson Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Scorpion could leave the field as winners, despite Moquenho having more of the ball for most of the match.
