Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vítor Koehler started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match, Vítor Koehler tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Baiano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 16 minutes into the game, Engano SC's Ramón Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Sao Simao booed when Engano SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Engano SC! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Sao Simao. Davy Geest stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wilson Baiano. 1-1. Yağızalp Aktaç kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Ramón Melo made the kick off in the second half. Wilson Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Koehler in the 52nd minute of play. Kauã Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Davy Geest sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Baiano skillfully saved the ball. Ramón Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Reynaldo Silva made a huge save. Wilson Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davy Geest in the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Koehler in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Baiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 73 in the game by Ramón Melo from a close distance when the talented Reynaldo Silva managed to make a qualified save. Sao Simao's players were relieved. Sao Simao's Reynaldo Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Sao Simao from getting a goal against them. Vítor Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Baiano having to interfere. Kauã Nascimento's shot from long distance in the 89th minute was not bad at all, but Sao Simao's Reynaldo Silva knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Engano SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sao Simao.
