Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mustangs FC's Cláudio Valladares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Lino Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabao SC and the Mustangs FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lino Amorim hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Mustangs FC's Cláudio Valladares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Rafinha Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Valladares in the 10th minute of play. In the last second Rafinha Loureiro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cláudio Valladares in the 13thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Anderson Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabao SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anderson Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazinho Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mustangs FC's Jarbas Paiva got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Sabao SC's Juninho Leite made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mazinho Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute, Silvério Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 23 played minutes Sabao SC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Amorim. Ian Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rafinha Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Eger in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rafinha Loureiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Cláudio Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ian Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Loureiro having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Valladares in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafinha Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes in the game, Cláudio Valladares dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Sabao SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Valladares came free, but Rafinha Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rafinha Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Meireles in the 45th minute of play forced Mustangs FC's goalkeeper Mazinho Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anderson Meireles to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Sabao SC's Anderson Meireles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mazinho Mattos. That made the score 1-2 after 56 minutes of play. In the 60th minute, Cláudio Valladares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mustangs FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Ian Eger scored 3-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafinha Loureiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cláudio Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes, Mustangs FC's Jarbas Paiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafinha Loureiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mustangs FC reached it. Ian Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rafinha Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mustangs FC's Cláudio Valladares in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sabao SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute, Ian Eger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mustangs FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Rafinha Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Eger in the 86th minute of the match. Anderson Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Mazinho Mattos made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mustangs FC had played much better football throughout.
