The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, João Paulo Moreno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olivér Szőnyi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. João Paulo Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Tepedino in the 13th minute of play forced Nunes F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cachoerinha AD's Olivér Szőnyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Moreno in the 22nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, João Paulo Moreno put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Olivér Szőnyi. The audience was convinced that João Paulo Moreno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olivér Szőnyi was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as João Paulo Moreno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olivér Szőnyi. Nunes F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachoerinha AD the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Nunes F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Reis to maneuver through the defense. Gilson Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olivér Szőnyi having to interfere. Tomé Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Erasmo de Salles fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachoerinha AD's protests and gave Erasmo de Salles a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cachoerinha AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Nunes F.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. João Paulo Moreno hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Paulo Moreno in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olivér Szőnyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Nunes F.C. booed when Cachoerinha AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. 傅彬霆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 傅彬霆 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Barbosa having to interfere. Olivér Szőnyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Moreno in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, Nunes F.C.'s Tomé Barbosa got control of the ball when Edson Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Tião Fantini threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nunes F.C.'s Eliézer Guimarães quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tião Fantini got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by 傅彬霆. There was no doubt that Nunes F.C. were the better team. Nunes F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
