Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elói Meirelles kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Meirelles in the 3rd minute of play forced Rabeca EC's goalkeeper Patrick Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zézinho Tasso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Furlan. Grêmio Jaraguá FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 8 played minutes Grêmio Jaraguá FC got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Paranaense. In the 9th minute of the match Tião Figueiredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Furlan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Nelsinho Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zézinho Tasso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Furlan. Grêmio Jaraguá FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luiz Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Secco in the 18th minute of play. Valdomiro Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Valdomiro Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdomiro Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Luiz Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Afonsinho Secco came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Rabeca EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonsinho Secco couldn't finish the play. Luiz Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Ribeiro in the 33rd minute of the match. If Afonsinho Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Valdomiro Ribeiro got free in front of the goal in the 37th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Luiz Furlan was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Afonsinho Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdomiro Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luiz Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonsinho Secco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Ribeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Furlan. Valdomiro Ribeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 58th minute Elói Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Secco in the 63rd minute of play forced Grêmio Jaraguá FC's goalkeeper Luiz Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cido Rossi scored 1-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elói Meirelles charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elói Meirelles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Grêmio Jaraguá FC got a freekick which was hit by Elói Meirelles. Valdomiro Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Luiz Furlan made a huge save. When Valdomiro Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Rabeca EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Valdomiro Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Luiz Furlan made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Luiz Gustavo Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 85 in the game by Afonsinho Secco from a close distance when the talented Luiz Furlan managed to make a qualified save. Grêmio Jaraguá FC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Jaraguá FC's zone, Valdomiro Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Furlan came out of the goal and Valdomiro Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdomiro Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Luiz Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonsinho Secco in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 played minutes Grêmio Jaraguá FC got a freekick which was hit by Flávio de Almeida. Flávio de Almeida's late challenge caught a Rabeca EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio de Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Jaraguá FC's Flávio de Almeida got a free kick in the 98th minute.
