With a little luck, Igualdade's Ezequiel Zanette got control of the ball when Ulryk Juroszek tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Kauã Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Baid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Paraíba in the 14th minute of play forced Sport Club Baid's goalkeeper Samuel Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sabino da Cunha during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulryk Juroszek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Ezequiel Zanette when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Samuel Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Brito in the 40th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Igualdade got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Quaresma. 46 minutes into the match, Igualdade's goalkeeper Ezequiel Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulryk Juroszek. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Igualdade's Francisco Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ulryk Juroszek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Zanette having to interfere. Sport Club Baid's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cesinha Paraíba 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Ulryk Juroszek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Juroszek in the 67th minute of play. Igualdade's Ezequiel Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Viana in the 70th minute of play. Ulryk Juroszek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Zanette having to interfere. Kauã Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Igualdade got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo de Alcântara. When Cesinha Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Igualdade's protests and gave Cesinha Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Cesinha Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulryk Juroszek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Igualdade's Cesinha Paraíba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samuel Carvalho. That made the score 0-2 after 91 minutes of play. In the 95th minute Ulryk Juroszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igualdade were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sport Club Baid's much stronger midfield.
