Tadeu Cordeiro hit a great ball. Diogo Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Sampaio having to interfere. If Diogo Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Robinho Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diaurum ES's protests and gave Robinho Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Robinho Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Peixoto in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ibirama FC's zone, Durvalino Favoretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Simão came out of the goal and Durvalino Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Diogo Moreno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Sampaio. Diaurum ES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diogo Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marcel Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Peixoto in the 35th minute of play. If Diogo Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Peixoto in the 42nd minute of the match. The Diaurum ES players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ibirama FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogo Moreno made a kick off. Diaurum ES's Marcel Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Moreno in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute, Lucas Peixoto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibirama FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 60th match minute, Ibirama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Ibirama FC's Diogo Moreno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Dida Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Favoretto in the 67th minute of the match. Lucas Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Sampaio having to make a save. Lucas Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Sampaio having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Cleiton Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Diogo Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ibirama FC's Diogo Moreno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcel Sampaio. That made the score 0-4 after 80 minutes of play. 84 minutes into the match, Ibirama FC's Lucas Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Almir Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Lucas Peixoto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Marcel Sampaio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ibirama FC:s Dida Simão showed great skill when he stopped Edmundo Pereira:s penalty. Marcel Sampaio was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Diogo Moreno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diogo Moreno really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After 97 played minutes Ibirama FC got a freekick which was hit by Almir Dante. When the match was over Ibirama FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Diaurum ES throughout the match.
