Juan Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fabiano de Amaral in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Silvério Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Limoeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Netto to maneuver through the defense. Afonsinho Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonsinho Gaspar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Limoeiro's Afonsinho Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 played minutes Guapiassu SC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro de Mendonça. Juan Prata made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ramiro de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
