After 11 minutes, Emílio Santos made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Coataquara AD's Carlos Fernando Vianna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jamanacari FC were furious when Wanderson Veloso was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 18th minute, Pedro Paulo Mendonça fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 19th minute, Hernani da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Paulo Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Vianna having to interfere. When Emílio Santos fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamanacari FC's protests and gave Emílio Santos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jamanacari FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Emílio Santos hit a great ball. Claudinei Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Queirós went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Coataquara AD's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Vianna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emílio Santos. After 34 played minutes Jamanacari FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Santos. Emílio Santos struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Carlos Fernando Vianna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamanacari FC. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Paulo Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. Fred Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto Queirós hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Pedro Paulo Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Carlos Fernando Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Schmidt in the 59th minute of the match. Fred Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei Carioca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 94th minute Diego Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Queirós in the 96th minute of the match. Although Jamanacari FC had been in control for most of the match, Coataquara AD still came away with the win.
