Praetorian™ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esporte Clube Poções the free kick. Tadeu Netto hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Haroldo Alves struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Robinho Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Praetorian™ FC. If Afonso Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Didi Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Pena in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Danilo Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esporte Clube Poções's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didi Vianna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Augusto Pena in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didi Vianna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulinho Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Paulinho Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Didi Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Praetorian™ FC's zone, Paulinho Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Didi Vianna came out of the goal and Paulinho Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haroldo Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulinho Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Didi Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Didi Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Andrade in the 41st minute of the match. Praetorian™ FC's Didi Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Pena in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

João Augusto Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Didi Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Danilo Peixoto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Alves in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robinho Cruz saved Esporte Clube Poções from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Alves in the 68th minute of play forced Esporte Clube Poções's goalkeeper Robinho Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Esporte Clube Poções got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Andrade. Robinho Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Alves went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Didi Vianna was a little too slow when Paulinho Andrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-1. Esporte Clube Poções's Paulinho Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Afonso Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Esporte Clube Poções fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Dantas couldn't finish the play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robinho Cruz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Esporte Clube Poções were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
