Marcelo Vidal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moisés Lago to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Vasco Mineiro FC's André Luiz Pernambucano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caetano Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
