Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erik Montenegro took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Cristian Pereira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Delfim Penha to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Piraputanga's Chicão Melo got a free kick in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Pawlik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arnaldo Ceresso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Piraputanga's zone, Erik Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Penha came out of the goal and Erik Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Przemyslaw Pawlik put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arnaldo Ceresso. The supporters of Piraputanga booed when Sobral F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denny Arrese hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Cristian Pereira's late challenge caught a Piraputanga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Sobral F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Pereira to maneuver through the defense. When Ian Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Piraputanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Cosme couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sobral F.C.'s Erik Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delfim Penha. That made the score 2-2 after 41 minutes of play. Jonathan de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Natanael dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Delfim Penha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Sobral F.C.'s Erik Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Ceresso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christiaan Bruyninckx in the 60th minute. Arnaldo Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiaan Bruyninckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Denny Arrese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Piraputanga's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Montenegro came free, but Delfim Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Montenegro in the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Piraputanga's Christiaan Bruyninckx made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Ceresso was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cristian Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Ceresso made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Christiaan Bruyninckx sent off a good shot on target. After 80 minutes, Chicão Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piraputanga and the Sobral F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Piraputanga's Chicão Melo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Delfim Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiaan Bruyninckx might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christiaan Bruyninckx ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the game, Piraputanga's Ian Cosme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnaldo Ceresso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. If Christiaan Bruyninckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedê Madureira's late challenge caught a Piraputanga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedê Madureira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sobral F.C.'s Dedê Madureira got a free kick in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Sobral F.C.'s Arnaldo Ceresso got control of the ball when Christiaan Bruyninckx tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 97 played minutes Piraputanga got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Fontes.
