Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narciso Dias started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Cidade Nova getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Rogério Cunha hit a great ball. Reynaldo Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Dias in the 10th minute of play. Paulo Victor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Narciso Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Victor came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Cidade Nova's Natanael de Amorim. But to his dismay, Natanael de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 20th minute Yan Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael de Amorim in the 22nd minute of play forced Esporte Clube Pilar's goalkeeper Paulo Victor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yan Zonta took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Cardozo. Reynaldo Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 36 played minutes Esporte Clube Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Dias. A collision led to Cidade Nova getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Igor Matović hit a great ball. Paulo Victor made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Osmar Amaral sent off a good shot on target. Igor Loureiro made a great header on Cidade Nova's corner, it was just that Esporte Clube Pilar's Paulo Victor managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Paulo Victor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael de Amorim in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Cidade Nova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Cunha to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Dias in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Cardozo saved Cidade Nova from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cidade Nova's Basílio Sousa got a free kick in the 64th minute. Reynaldo Cardozo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from 柳晨夕. Cidade Nova's Rogério Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cidade Nova's Reynaldo Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Zonta in the 73rd minute of play. Reynaldo Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bautista Quintero in the 76th minute of play. 柳晨夕 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Cardozo having to interfere. With a little luck, Cidade Nova's Reynaldo Cardozo got control of the ball when 柳晨夕 tried to sneak it across the goal line.
