When Cirilo Kimetz came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Varela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Kimetz couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Cirilo Kimetz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alberto Valery. Gaston Mantzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Millrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Nestor Abancens hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Cirilo Kimetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Itzaina's late challenge caught a Varela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Itzaina helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Urizar getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Christian Itzaina hit a great ball. Alberto Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Kimetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Christian Itzaina came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Urizar fans jumped to their feet. In the 37th minute, Ziemowit Pozorski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 minutes, Ceferino Asteri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urizar and the Varela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Ceferino Asteri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Varela's Asrın Devlettin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Valery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Varela's Asrın Devlettin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Valery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 57th minute of the match Rodrigo Ado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Mantzio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Varela's Asrın Devlettin in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Urizar's goalie prevented a goal. Alberto Valery made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Asrın Devlettin sent off a good shot on target. Aquilino Florin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Asrın Devlettin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteve Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Erubiel Vidal might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaston Mantzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Vidal ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the match, Cirilo Kimetz notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Urizar's Alberto Valery. Alberto Valery was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cirilo Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Varela's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
