The supporters of River Plate de Hurlingham booed when Club Atletico River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Lopes came free, but Maximo Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Atletico River Plate defense, Inocencio Oliverios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Quinteros. The Club Atletico River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Quinteros should have stopped the shot. Inocencio Oliverios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Inocencio Oliverios who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Maximo Quinteros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 25 minutes in the game, Inocencio Oliverios fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maximo Quinteros having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Joel Maties threw the ball into play from the sideline. River Plate de Hurlingham's Abel Lopes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nafiz İshak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Inocencio Oliverios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Quinteros having to interfere. Inocencio Oliverios who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Maximo Quinteros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Abel Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the River Plate de Hurlingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Lopes couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Inocencio Oliverios made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match River Plate de Hurlingham got a corner. Club Atletico River Plate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manuel Rodas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atletico River Plate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Maximo Quinteros had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Rodas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 58th minute, Danilo Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Abel Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate de Hurlingham's protests and gave Abel Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Rodas in the 67th minute of play forced Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Maximo Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Rodas scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximo Quinteros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emilio Mercurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico River Plate. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. River Plate de Hurlingham had played much better football throughout.
