Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Freddy Lucado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Banfield2's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 8 played minutes Banfield2 got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Lucado. Freddy Lucado scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edelmiro Jago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th match minute, Banfield2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Roldan to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, Ismael Claris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Posadas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banfield2 the free kick. Ismael Claris hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Lucado in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Jago saved Atlético Posadas FC from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, Atlético Posadas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Mannuel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Banfield2 booed when Atlético Posadas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Claris didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Feliciano Tono shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Jago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Severiano Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Edelmiro Jago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Liberto in the 33rd minute. Banfield2's Enrique Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Barros in the 38th minute of play. Severiano Lain hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Freddy Lucado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Edelmiro Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Lucado to make the kick off. Eriberto Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Matei having to interfere. Freddy Lucado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Edelmiro Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Enrique Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Lucado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Freddy Lucado came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Banfield2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Lucado couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Barros during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Atlético Posadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Barros. 73 minutes into the match, Banfield2's Feliciano Tono broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Julian Guerau charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Guerau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Atlético Posadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Guerau. After 83 played minutes Atlético Posadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Mannuel. Freddy Lucado struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Edelmiro Jago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banfield2. Eriberto Calvet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Matei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Edelmiro Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Liberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 93 minutes, Freddy Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banfield2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Lucado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Banfield2 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
