Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Txanton started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Colipilli FC's Ignacio Teodor got a free kick in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Pasqual in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Tibalt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to banfield cat 2004 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Arturo Mirande hit a great ball. Markus Kukkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Txanton in the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Amado Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. banfield cat 2004's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Cesario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Pasqual took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marciano Tibalt. Marciano Tibalt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Gilberto Pasqual came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the banfield cat 2004 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Pasqual couldn't finish the play. Martin Gaitan scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Kukkonen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Txanton in the 30th minute of play forced banfield cat 2004's goalkeeper Markus Kukkonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Ignacio Teodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Kukkonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Ilixo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. A long shot from Santiago Cruz in the 41st minute of play was well struck, but Markus Kukkonen made a really good save at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Astrada got free with Markus Kukkonen in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colipilli FC's goalkeeper Marciano Tibalt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Cesario to make the kick off. Jorge Txanton hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Martin Gaitan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Kukkonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. When Ignacio Teodor was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. A collision led to Colipilli FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ignacio Teodor hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, banfield cat 2004 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Mirande to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Cleto Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Txanton in the 72nd minute of play forced banfield cat 2004's goalkeeper Markus Kukkonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Amado Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. banfield cat 2004's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Cesario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Gilberto Pasqual notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Colipilli FC's Marciano Tibalt. Marciano Tibalt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The banfield cat 2004 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing banfield cat 2004 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
