Ruperto Ofelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Hever, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Leonides Quentin's late challenge caught a Houssay ♪'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. Independiente's Mariano Paez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruperto Ofelio. That made the score 1-2 after 69 minutes of play. Houssay ♪'s Ruperto Ofelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Houssay ♪ from getting a goal against them. Ruperto Ofelio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Natalio Hever showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 76 minute of play. A collision led to C.A. Independiente getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Leonides Quentin hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Gabirel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Gabirel in the 88th minute of play forced C.A. Independiente's goalkeeper Geronimo Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Houssay ♪'s goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Musko came free, but Ruperto Ofelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, C.A.
