The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Beturian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Umea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herminio Estavan during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Beturian in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Umea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute, Manuel Valerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 65 minutes on the clock, Vicente Porfiro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Romulo Umea had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Teofilo Havier's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. The audience was convinced that Gavino Beturian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romulo Umea was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The nice shot from Teofilo Havier in the 94thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Romulo Umea had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 94th minute, Manuel Valerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zavalía FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
