Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Salagasta AFC's Sergio Ekhi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Balsa's Angel Venceslao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ekhi in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Valentin Viola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salagasta AFC's Blas Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Viola in the 5th minute of play. Erik Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Orlanda having to interfere. Sergio Ekhi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Angel Venceslao came out and tried to block the shot, but Sergio Ekhi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. After 27 played minutes Balsa got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Viola. Blas Orlanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Tirulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Salagasta AFC booed when Balsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salagasta AFC's Herminio Canor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angel Venceslao but with some difficulty. Angel Venceslao was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Sergio Ekhi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sergio Ekhi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, Balsa's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Ekhi came free, but Angel Venceslao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Balsa's Angel Venceslao got control of the ball when Nemesio Acevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Viola in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Orlanda saved Salagasta AFC from getting behind. In the 46th minute Sergio Ekhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Venceslao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Paz in the 56th minute of play forced Balsa's goalkeeper Angel Venceslao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balsa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergio Ekhi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.
