After having played for 6 minutes, Rene Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Ilixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eloy Batista came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Sarmiento F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Batista couldn't finish the play. Bernardino Bertol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Chabier in the 25th minute of the match. Sarmiento F.C's Bernardino Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Chabier in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prospero Chabier during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yacuchirí's Prospero Chabier got a free kick in the 27th minute. Sarmiento F.C's Bernardino Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Chabier in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Chabier in the 34th minute of play forced Sarmiento F.C's goalkeeper Bernardino Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Bertol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Lauren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Faudel Soulard. Yacuchirí's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Batista in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faudel Soulard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the game, Albino Tximitx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yacuchirí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento F.C the free kick. A collision led to Yacuchirí getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sarmiento F.C's Bernardino Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Luzea in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prospero Chabier to make the kick off. Victorino Saturnin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Bernardino Bertol, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 1-0. Angel Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Sarmiento F.C's Bernardino Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Chabier in the 60th minute of play. Faudel Soulard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Batista in the 63rd minute of the match. Robert Kruis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Bertol having to interfere. Faudel Soulard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Batista in the 70th minute of play. Prospero Chabier scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardino Bertol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Kruis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Bertol having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento F.C's zone, Albino Tximitx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Bertol came out of the goal and Albino Tximitx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute Eloy Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faudel Soulard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Batista in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faudel Soulard saved Yacuchirí from getting behind. After some careless play in the Sarmiento F.C defense, Prospero Chabier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardino Bertol. The Sarmiento F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardino Bertol should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Yacuchirí were the better team. Yacuchirí's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
