After 17 minutes, Honorio Micael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espora and the Obraje players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Obraje booed when Espora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Clemencin in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Dabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Obraje's Lázaro Maria got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Silverio Baumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Dabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes Espora got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Micael. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Clemencin in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Dabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogelio Honrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Videl, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Clemencin in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Dabi saved Espora from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Teodoro Guilabertus could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Rogelio Honrio however easily saved by the left post. After 41 minutes, Lázaro Maria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obraje and the Espora players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Silverio Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Espora's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Clemencin came free, but Honorio Dabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Guilabertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Espora's zone, Silverio Baumer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Dabi came out of the goal and Silverio Baumer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Joachim during the 69th minute. Honorio Dabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Clemencin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes, Isidro Idacio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espora and the Obraje players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Espora got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Benvido. 83 minutes into the match, Espora's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Clemencin came free, but Honorio Dabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Espora's Honorio Dabi got control of the ball when Silverio Baumer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Obraje walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
