Alejo Derwin's late challenge caught a Manzano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Derwin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Manzano FC's goalkeeper Elias Firman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manzano FC's Agustin Benvido got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Delmar Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Burutzagi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Benvido in the 27th minute of the match. One of Manzano FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Puesto Viejo FC:s goal. The referee gave Puesto Viejo FC a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cleto Alonso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Manzano FC's Elias Firman. 2-1. If Agustin Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Puesto Viejo FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
