With an all-out effort, Sopa FC's Aristides Pirro threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Godfredo Thomas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aristides Pirro stood somewhat misplaced when Godfredo Thomas came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. In the 31st match minute, Sopa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Osoitz to maneuver through the defense. If Prudencio Teyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sopa FC's Godfredo Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Valentin Peruxu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Sopa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Peruxu couldn't finish the play.
