Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Severo Indar made the kick off which started today's match. Zeledon Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Vachon, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The supporters of La Mano de Dios booed when Chorillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Danel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, La Mano de Dios's goalkeeper Erubiel Pabla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Lano. Elvio Porfiro charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvio Porfiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severo Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Erubiel Pabla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Pabla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Indar in the 35th minute of the match. Cristobal Lanos short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Erubiel Pabla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 46 minutes into the match, La Mano de Dios's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Indar came free, but Erubiel Pabla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Chorillo's Zeledon Gilen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Maore in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Marcelo Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mano de Dios's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Vachon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Gilen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Maore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Zeledon Gilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Indar in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Pabla saved La Mano de Dios from getting behind. If Cristobal Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Pabla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Lano in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Maore in the 78th minute of play forced Chorillo's goalkeeper Zeledon Gilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcelo Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to La Mano de Dios getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Elvio Porfiro hit a great ball. When Guaberto Danel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Guaberto Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Zeledon Gilen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Vachon in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chorillo's zone, Marcelo Vachon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Gilen came out of the goal and Marcelo Vachon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Mano de Dios players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chorillo.
