Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arano's Virgilio Bertol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jorge Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Porfirio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Bertol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jorge Burni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Porfirio might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Burni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Porfirio ran back to his position shaking his head. After 10 played minutes La Viagra del Abuelo got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Bernard. After a rather tough play, Arano's Faustino Estefan got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 24 minutes Arano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leopoldo Calvet who took care of the corner kick. Leopoldo Calvet placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 38th minute Virgilio Bertol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Porfirio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Burni having to interfere. Roberto Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaias Sidoro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornelio Aztore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julian Bastiaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Aztore in the 55th minute of play. Cornelio Aztore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Julian Bastiaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Cornelio Aztore made a precise shot to the right of Julian Bastiaro. Arano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 67th match minute, Arano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Estefan to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Cornelio Aztore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Viagra del Abuelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Cornelio Aztore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 77 minutes, Eliseo Ermano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Viagra del Abuelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Ermano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Bertol, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Arano's Roberto Porfirio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Burni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Paulino Txanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Bastiaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Ermano went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Arano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
