Pio X's Nicolas Kimetz got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Nicolas Kimetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pio X's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Kimetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Steven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximino Argi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Roman Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rodolfo Oto fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mosmota AFC's protests and gave Rodolfo Oto a yellow card for diving instead. Rodolfo Oto kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Nicolas Kimetz scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Steven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roman Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Kimetz in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Argi made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Pio X was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Shepherd to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Piearres, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Marciano Intxixu struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Modesto Gipuzkoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosmota AFC. If Marciano Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Pio X:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mosmota AFC:s goal. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Mosmota AFC. Silverio Gorka stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Modesto Gipuzkoa. 1-1. If Justo Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pio X's Nicolas Kimetz got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Mosmota AFC's Roman Steven got control of the ball when Nicolas Kimetz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Modesto Gipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Edorta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Argi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Steven having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
